I’m back, online and at work. The week away was exactly what I needed. Like always, the break could have been a little longer. It didn’t take long (I didn’t have my jacket off) before I was being asked questions about the big project.

Take a look at the autocross pictures. It was the highlight of the week.

Today at 18:30 I will be unplugging for a week. No email, internet or even cell phone reception even if I wanted it. Where does a place like this exist you ask? In the South East corner of Manitoba near the tiny village of Gardenton.

Julene, Abby and I are going out to visit my family. Maybe do some fun things like dirt-track racing, driving ATVs and just hanging out in the stifling heat and humidity.

The break is very welcome, coming at a time when work is beyond frustrating and stressful. It will be difficult to come back to the city.

I’ll be back online in a week. Until then, let’s hope the internet can survive without me.
